To use octopus online, you can either,

• click Demo button to see some demos, or paste small amount of code to a text area, then perform translation,
• upload a source file (.java, .cs, .vb), check a radio button to choose a translation type, then click the "Translate" button, you will be able to download the generated code with Visual Studio .NET project file.

You must make sure the original source code contains at lease one type definition, and can be compiled with the corresponding compiler. C#, VB.NET code must only refer to standard assemblies from Microsoft .NET framework, and Java code must only refer to J2SDK 1.3 class library. If your code contains references that can not be resolved, translation will fail.
